The Major Mailers Association, an Association made up of Quality First-Class Mailers, is an organization designed to address common issues. We provide a forum to represent the common interests of major First-Class mailers with the United States Postal Service (USPS). These interests include USPS rates charged, intervening in USPS rate cases (when appropriate), and USPS strategy and operational issues such as delivery standards and mailing systems. We provide a forum for the exchange of information between major First-Class mailers and the USPS management to:
- Keep major First-Class Mailers aware of USPS strategies and plans - Provide USPS management with educated feedback and common positions on important issues - Work in partnership with the USPS toward attaining the following goals:
Fair postal rates based on the quality of mail preparation provide by the mailer and the corresponding USPS cost to process. Quality mail service based on rates and delivery standards that result in the lowest combined cost for the major First-Class mailers and the USPS. .
